Cold Email Drafting

Draft a personalized cold outreach email from a prospect profile and offer in minutes.

Goal

Trigger

When you need to write a cold outreach email to a new prospect and have their profile details and your offer ready.

Steps

  1. 1

Analyze the prospect profile and offer details provided below: $prospect_and_offer

    • Prospect's name, role, and company are identifiable
    • Offer or value proposition is clearly stated
    • At least one specific detail about the prospect's context is present

  2. 2

Identify the prospect's likely top 1–2 pain points or goals based on their role, industry, and company stage. Map these directly to the most relevant aspect of the offer.

    • Pain points are role-specific, not generic
    • Offer benefit is tied to at least one identified pain point
  3. 3

Write a compelling subject line (under 8 words) that references something specific to the prospect — their company name, a recent milestone, or their role — without sounding clickbait-y.

    • Subject line is under 8 words
    • Includes a prospect-specific reference
    • Avoids spam trigger words
  4. 4

Draft the email body using this structure: (1) a personalized opening line referencing the prospect's context, (2) a one-sentence bridge connecting their pain point to your offer, (3) a concise value statement with a concrete outcome or proof point, (4) a low-friction CTA (e.g. a question or a 15-min call ask). Keep the total email under 120 words.

    • Opening line is specific to the prospect, not generic
    • Email body is under 120 words
    • CTA is a single, easy-to-answer ask
  5. 5

Review the full draft for tone: it should feel human and conversational, not salesy or templated. Remove any jargon, superlatives, or filler phrases like 'I hope this finds you well.' Ensure the prospect's name is used naturally.

    • No jargon or buzzwords present
    • Tone is direct and human
    • No generic opener phrases
  6. 6

Output the final email with the subject line labeled separately from the body, then add a brief 2–3 sentence rationale explaining the personalization choices made for this specific prospect.

    • Subject line and body are clearly separated
    • Rationale references specific prospect details
    • Rationale is 2–3 sentences max

Output format

Present the output in two sections: (1) 'Email' — with 'Subject:' on its own line followed by the full email body, and (2) 'Personalization Rationale' — 2–3 sentences explaining why specific details, pain points, and the CTA were chosen for this prospect.
